Everything PrimeTrading publishes is for information and education only. The Content shows how Alex Desjardins analyzes markets and manages his own trades. It is shared so you can learn a process, not so you can copy trades.

04About the performance shown

The results on this site, including the 3,700%+ return since January 2020, the 70.2% CAGR, the 7 out of 7 positive years and the win rate of about 40%, come from Alex's own trading account. Please read them with these limits in mind:

  • They are self-reported, calculated by us, and not audited or verified by an independent third party.
  • They reflect one person's account size, capital, position sizing, timing, costs and risk tolerance, which will differ from yours.
  • They are not typical. Members' results vary widely, and many traders lose money.
  • Past performance does not guarantee or predict future results.

Some statistics, such as the Growth Cycle “what happened next” tables or any back-tested screen, are historical or hypothetical: they are calculated after the fact and do not represent actual trading. Hypothetical results have inherent limits. They benefit from hindsight, do not involve financial risk, and cannot account for the impact of real-world factors such as liquidity, slippage, emotions and the ability to stick to a plan through losses. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve results similar to those shown.

05Our positions and conflicts of interest

  • Alex and other contributors may hold, buy or sell positions in any security mentioned, before, during or after it is discussed, and may change or exit a position without notice.
  • Trades shared in the Trade Room are Alex's own decisions, often posted around or after execution. You will not get the same prices or timing.
  • PrimeTrading is related to TradersLab, which Alex co-built and has a financial interest in. When we feature TradersLab on this site, we benefit if you subscribe.
  • We may be compensated for some links, products or partnerships. When that is the case, we will say so.
